UNIUYO Admission Status 2023/2024 | UTME & Direct Entry

UNIUYO Admission Status 2023: The University of Uniuyo is yet to release the admission status for enrollment in its various undergraduate programmes for the academic year 2023 /2024.

An admission status indicates that you have been admitted to the university but must meet certain requirements before enrolling.

For instance, you may have to begin during a different semester than the one for which you applied, participate in a specific college readiness program, or take additional foundation courses.

What does Admission Status mean on UNIUYO Portal?

If your Uniuyo portal indicates that you are not “Not Admitted yet”, it may be due to the fact that your preferred institution has not yet submitted the proposed list of accepted candidates to the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Conversely, it is likely that your application has not been accepted into that institution.

For those whose Admission Status is listed as “RECOMMEND”, the potential interpretation is that although they have been considered for admission by their preferred institution, the Joint Admission Management Board (JAMB) is still evaluating their admission to ensure that it meets all the requirements established by their preferred institution and by JAMB.

How to Check Admission Status on the UNIUYO Portal

Note: This post will be updated as soon as the list is available on the Uyo website. The procedure for this verification method is explained below.

  1. Firstly visit the UNIUYO ePortals from the school website.
  2. Press the ‘Admission Status’ link on the left side of the website.
  3. Input in your JAMB Registration Number in the required place and click the ‘Check Status’ button.
  4. A prompt will appear confirming if you have been given admission or not for your admission status.
  5. If you are giving admission, it is advisable to print the Admission Status slip for your records.

Important things to know, you can accept or reject offers from any university if you are not okay with the course given to you.

Generally, this will involve the payment of a deposit to occupy your space and the completion of a list of requirements, such as enrollment in an orientation program, and hostel application.
  • Reject the offer: Before declining an offer, ensure that you notify your admissions recruiter of your rejection so that your position can be made available to a new student.
