OAU Post UTME Exam Date for 2023: Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) has rescheduled the post-UTME screening exam for the 2023 /2024 session. The exam was previously postponed for candidates who applied for the OAU post-UTME admission form.
Please read carefully below to find out the new date and the requirements for participation. Candidates who are admitted into OAU through UTME must either have made OAU their first choice of institution or scored at least 200+ points in the 2023 UTME.
Candidates who made OAU their 2nd choice of institution will be considered for screening. This also applies to Direct Entry candidates and candidates who are admitted to OAU via a change of institution.
Candidates in these categories are invited to attend the 2023 / 2024 screening exercise, which will now be held on Tuesday, November 1st, 2023, to accommodate those students who have not yet registered due to unforeseen circumstances.
What Are The Admission Requirements Needed?
The following listed below are some of the screening admissions required for you to be eligible for Obafemi Awolowo post utme
- One of the passes must be a pass at ‘O’ Level or equivalent in English. Except for candidates who are admitted to the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Law, and the Bachelor of Arts in Education in the Faculty of Education
- One of the credits must be an ‘O’ Level pass or an equivalent pass in Mathematics.
- A pass in the general paper of the HSC is considered equivalent to an ‘O’ level pass in the English Language.
What is the venue and time for the Obafemi Awolowo Post Utme Screening Exam?
Applicants are invited to attend the post-UTME screening on the designated dates and times between 25th and 28th September 2023. Information regarding the Date and Venue of the Screening will be provided on the acknowledgment slip sent to each candidate via the UCI Admission Portal.
All applicants are encouraged to print out the slip and bring it with them to the screening venue. It is important to note that all applicants must be present at the Screening venue at least one hour prior to the commencement of the examination.
